Slate Architecture has, again, proudly partnered with St. Peter's Health in the opening of their new pharmacy at the North Clinic on Ptarmigan Lane in Helena. This collaboration highlights our commitment to enhancing healthcare facilities through innovative design and functionality. The new pharmacy represents a strategic expansion aimed at improving accessibility and convenience for the residents on the north side of town, aligning with St. Peter's Health's vision of comprehensive and integrated healthcare services.
Brian Lee, Chief Operating Officer at St. Peter’s Health, expressed enthusiasm about the new facility, stating, "We want to offer our patients convenience and one-stop-shopping for their health care needs." The design by Slate Architecture facilitates this vision by allowing patients to see their provider, complete imaging and lab services, and pick up their prescriptions in a seamlessly connected environment.
The pharmacy, a full-service facility offering outpatient prescription services, patient medication counseling, drug information, and select adult immunizations, is integrated within the same building as provider offices—a novel concept in Helena that promises significant benefits for patient care. "Pharmacists and providers can connect quickly about prescribed medications through a shared medical record, or by simply walking down the hall," Lee added. The design by Slate Architecture streamlines prescription fill times and enhances coordinated patient care.
Operating seven days a week, the pharmacy's location within the St. Peter’s Health Medical Group North Clinic ensures that high-quality healthcare services are readily available to the community. This development is part of a broader strategy to extend the operational hours of its pharmacies, including those at its Broadway facility later this year.

Working with Slate Architecture on our new facility was like a breath of fresh air. Their ability to blend a personalized approach with professional expertise is increasingly rare in today's world which for us - being a non-profit - aligns with our values. We found them to be reliable, responsive, timely and accurate. Highly recommend.
Dwayne and the Slate staff have taken the time to learn the ins and outs of our work as they helped us design new spaces. Dwayne even helped us navigate the city bureaucracy when our new greenhouses were built saving us thousands of dollars and weeks of construction time. They understand nonprofits and have been great partners.
Working with Slate was very beneficial for our small non-profit. They were understanding of our financial restrictions and Jeremy was very quick to respond and work as a team with our contractor to keep the project moving forward and within budget. We enjoyed working with them and love our new office!
